All students stay at this condo resort in exchange for use of the pool.
Reserve your room as soon as you know the course is a go. We will let you know or you can call earlier to check. The June course is a go.

We recommend that you stay for 7 nights, Saturday to Saturday. It gives you an equal chance to reserve a unit as someone competing for the same unit who wants the preferred 7 night booking. Originally we were able to reserve for 5 nights. But we’ve been losing out on rooms to those reserving for 7 nights. A full wee makes your trip less hectic: time to find restaurants and groceries and see our special beach at the beginning; and time to rest and take another swim before you leave on Saturday rather than e packing Thursday night to leave at checkout Friday. You will learn more if you avoid the pressure of rushing and the intensity of pushing; if you let yourself slow down to your own pace. It won’t take more vacation days but it will be more of a vacation. It’ll cost a bit more, but it’s worth it. Share a two-bedroom unit with a class member of the same gender if you wish, and halve the cost. Let us know if this is your wish and we’ll do our best to pair you.

The normal Essentials 1 (formerly called Beginning) Course is taught, Covid guidelines added. The course is given in the complex’s pool. You must stay at Jamaica Royale. It’s advantageous to stay there: have more rest, fewer distractions, and be more present. If you live locally, you may stay at home if there are enough students staying at JR
to make it worth their while. Please call us to check: 941 921 6420.

Fly into Sarasota (SRQ), Tampa (TPA) or Fort Myers (RSW).

Six students, maximum. The course fee is nonrefundable with the exception of our Guarantee.
Masks required if class meets indoors (as of December 2021).

Buy a wetsuit shirt before the course. It should be 1-2 mm thickness and fit like your skin: no gaps. Florida Under Water Sports in Sarasota gives good discounts to Miracle Swimming students. A list of online sources will be sent after your registration.
We recommend that you purchase trip insurance. Allianz is a source.
