Class Schedule:
  • Saturdays: 4:30-7:30pm
  • Sundays: 3-6pm

Please be at class at 4:15pm on the first day to allow more time to arrive and get settled. We are admitted to the pool at the beginning of our rental time, 4:30. We recommend wearing your suit under your clothes. We must clear the building BY the end time of class. Showering at home is recommended to maximize class time.

Wetsuit Vests We urge you to purchase a wetsuit vest ($30) for this class and for subsequent water play in the years ahead. If you buy the correct size, it will allow you to be in the water longer than without one. Since our classes are 2 hours in the water, a vest makes a difference. Everyone is glad they have one. Click the link to purchase a vest from the supplier we use. Give yourself at least 10 days to receive the vest. Remember you may need to get another size if you don’t order two and return the one.

Choosing a size: Please take this information literally. When people buy too large, they are cold in the pool. We encourage you to buy 2 sizes and return one that’s too big. In order to keep you warm, a wetsuit has to fit snugly: zero space between it and your body. It’s better for the vest to be too small than too big. It stretches a bit in the water. Two vests worn at once are warmer than one, as long as they fit.

Men’s sizes are straightforward: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL Women’s size equivalents: 2, 4: Ask for children’s sizes 6, 8: Extra Small 10, 12: Small 14, 16: Medium 18, 20: Large 22: XL 24: XXL

Book
Many people tell us they wish they’d had the advantage of reading our book, Conquer Your Fear of Water before class.
Save time: read the book first.
